At this time,B.A.R.K. rescue has over 50 rescued dogs in the system. Adoptions do not take place in December and those screened & approved for possible adoption will not be processed before the New Year (as in receiving the dog). Between 50 and 60 adult dogs and puppies are presently living in foster homes that are approved by and supported through BARK. BARK rescue does not get government grants or subsidies nor do they have corporate sponsors for dog food.

Sunday, November 27th from 11:00 to 5:00 wag your little tails on over to Masters 'n Dogs for our CANISWEAR event. Meet Patricia Marcotte our very own Canadian CANISWEAR designer. She will be giving expert advice as to what is best for your dog when it comes to Canadian winters. Our special event on Sunday will be a boot fitting session with Patricia who specializes in outfitting the tiny paws. Every dog who tries on a set of CANISWEAR Boots will get a Cinderella ballot to enter in our "boot fitting draw". The winner receives a free set of Movere Boots from CANISWEAR! 

Calling all dogs in the house to get your disguises on and get on out to Masters 'n Dogs in Westboro for our Howl O Ween contest! Between October 20th to the 30th, come to Masters 'n Dogs on 354 Richmond Rd to get your photo taken by one of our staff members. These photo entries will be posted on our website blog for online voting and the top 3 vote getters will win a prize package from Masters 'n Dogs valued at over $100.
